Robert Himler and Amy Sangster – A Love Story of Two Scammers Part Two

Wow. The last 3 days have attracted more traffic to my blog than ever before. My Robert and Amy post seems to have made the rounds to some forums that Robert himself used to frequent (one being Luxury4Play). I’ve been called a hater and a loser. The author of the Luxury4Play’s thread was mistaken as having written my blog post. Robert and Amy both responded quite harshly and unprofessionally to my rant. I feel the need to clear the air slightly.

It goes without saying that the post I wrote about Robert and Amy was fueled by disappointed and disapproval. I had woken up in the morning, with thoughts of the ‘Far From It’ launch and recent video Robert posted fueling my words.

I will leave the original post intact and untouched for the sake of leaving an audit trail in this entire discussion. I have to admit that my tone and mindset at the time of writing the post was negative for a number of reasons. One of these reasons was that Robert had utterly disappointed me with his latest business move. I had been following him for the past 5 years; studying his mindset and learning his tricks of the trade. I am not ashamed to admit that I was once a follower of his way of life because he gave me inspiration and motivation to do that which I loved, to make a business out of something I enjoyed doing. I was not under the impression that Robert’s story was one of ‘From Rags to Riches’ but I believed that he was an average entrepreneur, with only a keyboard and screen in his arsenal. Parts of his story reflected my ambitions. I want to provide tools for people all over the world to be able to share information in new ways, to let individuals express themselves. I always thought Razzi was a great tool for this sort of expression.

But as I kept uncovering information about Robert and his supposed ‘success’ I became disillusioned about the truth. The common consensus about his expensive vehicles reveals his father is a successful used cars salesman. This theory (since it has not been confirmed nor denied by Himler) seems to hold in regards to his acquisition of cars. One need only to look at his ‘interview’ on SecretEntourage to get a whiff of all of his previous cars. A Hummer here, an M3 there, Robert loves to showcase his previous and current vehicles to keep up his appearance of being able to ‘make it big’.

The only item that tipped my impression of him was the ‘Far From It’ book. When he first announced the idea of ‘Far From It’ a few months ago (before anyone knew it was a book), I was excited for it because I thought he was going to mentor entrepreneurs and youths on how to run a successful startup. Lo and behold, the book itself is the same ‘get-rick-quick-scheme’ that plagues most physical and digital book stores. As I stated in my previous post, his and Amy’s posture and attitude in the promotional video for ‘Far From It’ shows how ‘excited’ they are for the book. They just wanted to give their religious followers a breadcrumb to believe that they will be on their journey to success. This is why I denounce their ‘product’. I don’t believe their video. I don’t believe Robert when he is stating that he did not come from rich parents or that they played no influence in his life. I am not a millionaire but I am beyond privileged and I try to remain as humble as possible. Not appreciating the people that helped you be where you are is deceitful and ignorant, in my opinion. Looking at the ‘Far From It’ forum’s statistics, it seems Robert has ‘persuaded’, for lack of a better word, about 900 people to buy the book. 900 Buyers x $47 (Initial Price) = $42300 gross income.Seeing as how Robert did not go through a publisher so that he may regulate and dismiss all negative reviews, his production costs are most likely very low. One move I can agree with, is the discussion forum. Collecting like-minded people and allowing them to collaborate and network is great but an entry price of $55 at the moment, seems unfair.

After my post made the rounds online, Robert and Amy decided to step in on the Luxury4Play forum and show their true colours. First, Amy herself admits that Robert has come from rich parents. This is a direct contradiction to what they say in their Far From It video.

Next, Amy says

We created the book to put a stop to all these ridiculous claims, and also because we’ve managed to inspire a lot of people out there.

yet in their video they condone that owning supercars should be the norm. They define success as owning exotic cars. I personally do not understand how this translates into success or being able to do ‘what I want’ but I am sure I am not their target audience.

Amy states

As far as this being a scam, Robert has worked extremely hard over the last 5 years + to build his following. Do you really think we would put all of that in jeopardy over a bit of money? We’re not that desperate.

I’m not sure Amy but after posting a video such as this and cleverly titling it ‘Amy’s Gallardo getting Revved Up’ without any driving content, I am skeptical. After announcing it for 3 weeks prior and not delivering any worthwhile content, it seems like you are quite desperate for views (ie, ad-revenue).

Robert shows his great attitude after insulting another entrepreneur

Oh and btw, you bash trading…just found on your site that you’re the owner of “Trader Concepts” haha. Definition of a hypocrite right there. I see you have a lot of merit to be posting these articles. 1 subscriber on YouTube. Nice work! Perhaps you could do with reading the book.

His behaviour deserves no response as he is digging his own grave.

Then, to save his own skin, Robert makes up the fact that the OP on Luxury4Play did not write the blog post after insulting him beyond reason.

Huge misunderstanding. We were under the impression Arthur WROTE the said blog post in the original post? That’s why we were so confused to why you said you that you didn’t mean it in a degrading way yet that blog post completely tried to tear us apart. So you didn’t post it? How else would you find that blog? Just curious.

I apologize Arthur.

I don’t know Robert, considering that you are a developer and tech-savvy, after reading the article you may have noticed the giant tab titled ‘Who Am I’. There, you would have discovered that my name is not Arthur nor am I hiding any information about who I am.

There is no point dissecting that thread any further as Robert has shown his true colours through his actions and attitude. I was not expecting him to jump the gun this quickly and hurt his reputation.

A deceitful move that Robert had previously done without anyone noticing was renaming a video he uploaded on Youtube. He initially uploaded that video under the title “HOT GIRLS AND FAST CARS? WHAT!!!” and has now renamed it to “Twin Turbo Gallardo Update – Underground Racing”. I wonder why he has done this…

I had no intention of ‘calling anyone out’ nor judging people. For Robert to claim that my initial post had no factual information, I’d like for him to point out exactly what I lied about. Perhaps then, he can take the wood chip out of his own eye.

Everything went downhill for him after getting with that amy girl. Willing to bet she pushed him to do this. She speaks using a holier than thou tone. Go read her website’s copy. It’s always a girl that brings down something on the way up.

    • Michael says:

Amen. The thing that surprises me is that she is not (for me) that attractive. I’m quite surprised she has landed the son of a rich man. Is this a best a Lamborghini can buy? I was expecting to see someone around a 9-10. This girl is a 6-7 (at the most). A bangable girlfriend, yes. But someone “in between” that 8-10 you really want. However chemistry and connections can always transcend appearance of course.

I stand firm in my belief if you are rich you can get any women you want even if you’re unattractive. You don’t even have to be rich. You can make a comfortable 6 figure income. When a women sees you have money her female instincts take over. Money is as important to the average women as physical appearance is to the average man. And if you’re a rich man who is nice with a halfway decent personality – you’re in. Given the choice a women will always (95/100) choose a rich guy over a handsome athletic male. There have been countless studies to support this fact.

Forming a business venture with a women your involved with is a mistake. He is young and unfortunately the type of experience I’m talking about is always learned the hard way. 99% of women today simply all about themselves. They have no morals and it’s all about their entitlements, their wants, their interests. The other 1% of women who aren’t like this (mostly shy types or raised morally correct or religious from what I’ve observed etc) are the opposite of the above. If you don’t have one then good luck finding one.

My entire life I’ve always noticed how many men’s troubles and declines (quick or gradual) are directly accompanied by yielding his manhood to the advise suggestions and desires of his women. It occurs fast or gradually yielding over time.

And it always starts from letting a women make decisions in your life.

GREAT write up Robert… I can’t believe that I almost fell for this too. Would love to chat with you sometime if you read this…

Michael- I love your reply here…in case you get notification, I would love to find some way to directly chat with you about a couple points you mentioned above too esp on relationships, namely regarding that 1% of right woman…. I feel it’s def a hard task, and you seem to have seen alot and experienced alot, reading between the lines.. and it’s kind of applicable for me right now, so would love to hear you expanding your knowledge/experience on this, patterns, signs, etc. :)

(also agree with assessment, the girl is a 6/7 at best LOL)

  4. yuri23 says:

thanks for taking the time to write this. much need for many of these kids…

  5. brybry says:

wow that was a close one i was about to buy their book… there’s always that too good to be true moment…

  6. Bob says:

As for the “book” (err…PDF file), I’ve seen it. It is mostly filled with motivational crap. Which might be valuable to some, but isn’t what I would personally want to spend $50 on. The information about Robert and Amy’s background is nothing that is not already available online. They need an editor (there are grammatical errors and style issues throughout).

Look, I have nothing against these people (I do not know them personally), but I do have issues with exaggerated claims of “success” being used to sell a “book” about success. I didn’t see any outright “lies” in the book (although he referred to pumpcost.com as pumpprices.com…pumpcost is the domain that Himler owned, per the Internet Archive). What I did see what utter non-specificity about what his ventures did or did not do financially. He has made money, but not Lambo money. Not even close. Far from it, as a matter of fact.

  7. Charles Weston says:

Hey everyone i have so much dirt on Robert, through actual investigation. I am putting up a blog about all of it soon, i will post it here. Sneak peek is that he actually owns nothing, not even where he lives both in Florida and in Pennsylvania. Sources are public land records people…it all belongs to his dad. Not to mention his cars are his dads…so pathetic is this kid.

  8. Bob says:

More info that I tried to post earlier:

I enjoy Mr. Himler’s videos. They are generally competently shot and edited and the content is enjoyable. In some ways, it is a bit tacky to post videos that say, essentially, “look at me and my cool cars,” but I will give him a bit of a pass on this because he does show a genuine interest in what he is showing, and seems to want to share the high-end automotive experience with his audience, while driving around in “Mexico” with Amy.

That said, I find it somewhat offensive that he is holding himself up as some sort of example of being a “successful” individual when there is no sign that he is connected to any legitimate business that could possibly generate the kind of income that he claims to have. There are two business registered to him in Florida: Razzi and Stun Gun Empire. Look up Razzi on any “find out your web site value” site and it will become obvious that Razzi does not bring in Lambo money. It does $100-300/day in potential ad revenue. Not bad, but that is before hosting and development, and other costs. After expenses and taxes, the amount left over is nontrivial, but it would never support the type of life-style that he claims to have. Stun Gun Empire looks to be a simple web site that sells stun guns. It might make something, but there is no sign that the stun gun business is the way to wealth.

He claims to have some offline businesses as well. This may be true, but there is no sign of them at the Florida Secretary of State’s office.

Meanwhile, he has about $500k in cars, a $100k college education, a $200+k condominium (look it up on Zillow), and a warehouse for the cars. All purchased (the warehouse may be rented) in the last 3-4 years. Figure on a conservative $50k/year in living expenses and an average 33% tax rate, and he would have had to net $1.5MM in his businesses–upwards of $400-500k/year. This is without savings or any other unusual expenses. While being a full-time college student for some of that time and in between making videos, writing his book, and doing web development. I defy anyone to demonstrate how this is even possible.

  9. Bob says:

Youtube will bring in something, but it’s probably along the lines of
$30k pre-tax, total, not per year. And the video production costs might
    well exceed that.

As for Razzi, it’s not exactly a well-trafficked web site. And it
appears to be based heavily upon http://www.slickpic.com/ And note that
photo hosting is bandwidth and storage intensive; it is one of the more
expensive types of online businesses to run.

Beach Creeps appears to have been his most popular web site, but that
appears to have been sold. If he got anything close to, say, $50k for
    it, I would be amazed.

  10. Bob says:

He also apparently had some other ventures in high school (Sunday’s Best Apparel, Himler Films, and maybe others) which apparently went nowhere.

Finally, he claims that icarhomepage was his first web site. That domain name (icarhomepage.com) was registered on 3/30/2009. His first “Lambo delivery video” is dated 3/16/09. That should be enough to indicate that there is something that he is not telling us. Comments to this effect keep getting deleted for some reason from the Secret Entourage interview.

Amy, I don’t know about. In the absense of information to the contrary or time to research her history, I will take her at her word.

I like the guy’s videos, and I admire his attitude, but I do find his “success” very difficult to take seriously in light of the information that is available to the public about his work. I’m sure that he is making decent money (maybe more than I am, as a guy with a regular 9-5 job), but I see no evidence to suggest that the income necessary to support his life-style is derived from his own businesses. Given that, selling a book about his “success” comes dangerously close to fraud.

And what is the deal with the meta description for the Far From It web site calling this a “bestselling book”?!?! It isn’t a book and it is certainly not a bestselling book.

Go ahead people…prove me wrong. Show me how it is possible for the guy to have generated anything approaching $400-500k/year for the last 3-4 years. I don’t see it. The guy’s a genius for marketing and self-promotion, but not for business (yet, at least).

  11. Bob says:

Domain names that Mr. Himler has owned or owns include:

    razzi dot me
    beachcreeps dot com
    profilepane dot com
    sleektweet dot com
    icarhomepage dot com
    r8pl8z dot com
    whoissettling dot com
    nurburgringlive dot com
    roberthimler dot com
    yourcustomhomepage dot com
    abroslife dot com
    ferrarifag dot com
    hotgirlsandiphones dot com
    betsysbackup dot com
    eihtstops dot com
    citycreeps dot com
    onebadapp dot com
    pumpcost dot com

Can anyone can cite convincing evidence that the above, combined, would provide upwards of $400k/year income? I doubt it.

  12. A says:

The guy is fucking fake. I saw the records myself, his father, Himler JR owns his house. And I’m a SEO guy and his traffic is bought, not natural or built an organic presence. I’m honestly surprised if he breaks even on razzi.

  13. Charles Weston says:

Spread this rip off report link to all of the forums to bring Robert Himler down http://www.ripoffreport.com/robert-himler/internet-fraud/robert-himler-far-from-it-raz-7be14.htm

  14. no says:

its al a scam. he gets people to sign up for his site razzi, and possibly pay. one of the big things on his site, is that whenever you search a picture, coincidentally it is his picture. so he gets another view on his picture = more money in his pocket through ad sense. he is telling us we can make money by following his footsteps, and the only person making money is him. he uses his “fan base” to his advantage

  15. FRH says:

Can we discuss on how to bring him down?

  16. Tim says:

I have to admit I had a lot of respect for Robert before his far from it download. He seemed like a pretty legitimate guy and his videos were fun to watch, but then he started talking about his upcoming book detailing his success and how others could benefit from his outlook on life.

Being a bit naive I got sucked in, thinking “hey here’s something that might be an interesting read and could possibly help me in life”. I thought about purchasing the so-called “book” on the website he and Amy created for it.

Then I saw the price. $47 for a book! I thought “alright well he needs to pay a publisher and whatever else needs to be done to get it in print form, but oh look! It’s a digital download; anyone around the world can get it. Wait, hold on a second… if its a download, why the hell is it so expensive”. I was expecting something more along the lines of $10.

Then it dawned on me, Robert and Amy are selling another one of those famous get rich quick schemes, another classic case of the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Oh and look, after the book gets released “Amy’s Gallardo is getting revved up” with twin turbos and Robert wants to change up all the cars in his garage which I have no problem with, do what you want with your money.

I respect what Robert and Amy have done, its pretty obvious that they are successful, I just find it wrong that they are probably pocketing 90-100% of the earnings their little 129 page get motivated style book is generating. I hope more people don’t get sucked into this scam and I’m glad I didn’t.

By the way, Robert and Amy if you read this don’t bother calling me a hater or a loser. All that is accomplishing is showing people that you are unwilling to accept criticism that comes with you’re actions in return making you guys the haters and the losers.

  17. Bill says:

Very good job Vecinuca. For a long time I thought I was the only one disgusted with this douche bag. I believe I was one of the first ones to discover the fraud regarding his cars (US Auto Mart) about a year ago. I posted the info on his YouTube channel but within a day it vanished. Above anything else, I am more pissed off about his YouTube videos and the arrogance of him racing recklessly up and down Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale residential streets at speeds topping 100mph. I thought to myself, what kind of parents would let their son jump in a 650hp twin turbo powered rocket ship and race around the city. But after watching the video with Robert and his mother, I got a better understanding where this kid gets his arrogance from.

A couple months ago I contacted various authorities in his area and voiced my opinion. To my surprise one of the agencies knew of the videos and had concerns regarding the message these reckless videos are leaving his followers. Robert’s arrogance and “above the law” mentality ooses out of those videos and plays on his younger crowd. Pause the videos at any point and you can read street signs, count the gears and you can tell his approximate speed, watch his passengers look at the dashboard and whisper the speeds, see him race around a school bus at over 100mph…THIS IS HOW TRULY DUMB AND OBLIVIOUS TO HIS SURROUNDINGS THIS KID IS. A TRUE SOCIOPATH! In my state it’s a felony to speed over 100mph not to mention reckless endangerment of passengers and public. My conversation with the Florida authorities ended with “we’re looking into it”.
It is in my opinion that the way to stop this sociopath is to shut down his “vehicle” that made him popular in the first place – his YouTube channels. YouTube has rules regarding posting videos that endanger, break the law or could potentially cause harm to others. I have neither the interest or time to peruse such campaign, but I’m hoping to plant a seed in one of the good followers of the site to take on this task.

    Regards,

  18. Bill says:

If anyone is interested and truly fed up with this arrogant sociopath speeding around Orlando at speeds of 190mph then PLEASE voice your concerns to YouTube and the Orlando District Attorneys office. If you REALLY want to put an end to this maniac, then you must go about it the proper way. Leaving comments on his YOUTUBE channel and other forums with NOT WORK. Put your good tax dollars to use and voice your concerns. I contacted this agency but they NEED to hear more. – http://www.justice.gov/usao/flm/
    Thanks

  19. Bill says:

Sorry administrator…I accidentally pasted an article after my post….please delete after “facebook” Thank you!

  20. n1x0n7 says:

Very well put together Article, I noticed his videos just yesterday after looking up replica lambo’s and noticed he had that channel, so I watched a few of his videos and was impressed with his style in vehicles… so I thought to myself, damn this guy’s pretty wealthy, but how… something was going on behind each followers back, because stuff like this isn’t just brought to you.. but this pretty much clears it up.. I took a look into his google background changing website and yeah, like that would generate billions of dollars in ad revenue.. I’ve been making websites since I was 12 I started off with tripod, to free webs to Microsoft Front Page than to Dream Weaver and learning about style sheets, php and javascript (jquery etc) so, Does this mean my next step is to just get the right mind set, create some shitty looking websites like Razzi and this background changer and get rich from Google Ads? Yeah, People can make a living off of google ads, but those websites are useless, (Let mention the background website has 312 likes on the facebook page) people have already came up with the ideas like (Google Inc, Flickr, Imageshack, tinypic, instagram) so, meanwhile he creates something that isn’t unique it’s just “another website if the others are down” My thesis is that Dad and his connections set Robert up because Robert explained his business plan and they saw his vision, so he makes all these videos like the one you mentioned (Reving up the engine of the lambo that has some dubstep) I mean that video says it all right there, professional video editing and dubstep… what’s next? Amy stroking “her lambo” while skrillex is playing in the background, 300k views here we come so clearly you want money Robert and gullable teenagers get their hopes up when they see that stuff, but you should have not released a book, Maybe a book explaining how your life has gone, what kind of family you come from and how you got into the car game but no details on how to get rich would be community and internet friendly, because suckers are interested on how to get rich and dreamers are interested in you.

  21. At some point, the emptiness will catch up to them and it’ll all fall apart. She’ll move on to another guy, and he’ll look for another revenue maker that will allow him to prey upon the naive and desperate.

  22. Getting Wet says:

Get people to believe in you through the APPEARANCE of success, so they feel motivated to watch your videos/buy your product. Isn’t this like, the basics of entrepreneurship?

These two are just highly unbelievable while doing it.

    • Mike Mazodda says:

Absolutely not. These two are not entrepreneurs. They’re fraudsters. They make entrepreneurs look bad. Entrepreneurs create and innovate. Writing a book with plagiarized text, and selling themselves as more successful than they are is not what entrepreneurship is.

  23. Giorgio says:

you should research Richard Branson and see how privileged and connected his life was despite his claims of being ‘self made’.

  24. Fabio says:

Talking about buisness by “making people hot” with cool cars is really bad. If he would make a serious car magazine or something like that, it would be ok. but he basically shows you A to get your attention and sells you B (bunch of shit)….. thats so odd obvious. i dont want to repeat my self…
ridiculous guy. pretty ugly. needs cars, with at least 3 cameras in it to show everyone how cool he is, to sell his scam…. Sex sells. A pretty dump girl, hot cars. so anyone knows that this is where pure effort comes from. ;)

For only a second i was jealous seeing this cars… but you know?
I am working hard. In fact. And i have to puke seeing Bullshittalkers having effort. Not realising they dont have real effort. Thanks to this article my frustration is solved :D Guy = Fool with rich parents and scam tactics. I think to myself, ok, his money won´t last long. Hopefully gets to law.
Maybe im a Student. Very probably i will get an architect.
Yeah, im keen on cars, too. And yeah, probably i will earn egnough
to get the possibility of buying some Ferrari. Probably no Enzo, but an F360 can be possible.
Yeah, even as Student doing some “hard work” i can think about buying a used Lotus Elise for about 15,000€ wich is not that much for a car…
But you know what? i am totaly fine with my turbocharged FIAT running at 300 on the Highway with no speedlimit. cause i earned it with my work, and it damn rocks more than every showcar of a sissy who cant even use it.

  25. Fabio says:

and you know what i forgot?
Probably i wont buy a Ferrari because i will have Kids whos education will cost me more than the F360 :D

  26. Brogan says:

This kid is a joke, he grew up in my hometown of Greensburg. Everyone knew him as the spoiled, rich kid whos daddy owned a dealerhip. He would go around telling everyone he built his lambo from a kit so no one would give him shit for being a spoiled brat. Never had a girlfriend because all the girls knew how much of a tool he was. Its funny seeing how he scammed all these people now though. Kids pathetic, trust fund baby, spoiled brat, chronic liar. His parents run there delearship like scum bags stealing from whoever they can. Arrogant, scum family.

  27. Andy says:

Mate.. Cheers for the article.. i was about to sign up for the infinite prosperity free account and i noticed the discount code box and i went onto google to search up infinite prosperity discount code, infinite prosperity scam came up which led me to a few different forums.. i was planning to save up for the bloody gold membership.. u saved me 600 bucks.. http://www.infinite-prosperity.com/ is the website for anyone who wants to write a review about the website

  28. wrk4lvg says:

shocked nithing has ever been brought up about the contest that would net somebody a flight to orlando and a ride in his ttg.

  29. Dougie Von Sanderbock says:

Amy’s Lamborghini isn’t being TT’d at all. She actually SOLD it! More lies from the Himler/Sangster coalition.
